This summer, T22: Yingge will join hands with local businesses again, targeting Michelin restaurants that value a harmonious synergy between tableware and cuisine. TDRI matched three distinctive Michelin restaurants with experienced design brands and three sets of tailored Michelin restaurant co-branding tableware are hence born.

Taiwan Design Museum launches the “Open School” exhibition from April 18 to June 18, showcasing transformation cases by 41 schools and 28 design teams from 2021 to 2022. We look forward to more schools across Taiwan to carry on the effort of introducing design thinking to campus and jointly create greater possibilities of learning environments.

Four winners of Best Design Award will join forces at the Bangkok event on May 9th and the Kuala Lumpur event on May 11th to share their unique insights about the relationship between design, sustainability and value creation. The two salons will be holding both local physical events and online live streaming, which are now open for registration!

“T22 Local Industry Revitalization via Design Project” aims to “reshape Hualien as Taiwan’s first industry hub with a brand image of sustainable development.” After integrating stones with artisan craftsmanship in co-branding designs in 2022, the project further proceeds to regional revitalization in 2023 through the “Open Factory” initiative.

The Referendum Bulletin Redesign in the first stage achieved outstanding results, winning two awards at the 2022 Golden Pin Design Award. In addition to referendum bulletin redesign with CEC, TDRI also cooperated with Taipei City Election Commission (TCEC) to implement demo project of election bulletin and polling station signage redesign, warming up for the third stage of cooperation!

The Golden Pin Design Award Ceremony, a grand event in the design circle, was held in the evening of December 2nd. The winners of the highest honors the Best Design were revealed at the ceremony. Winning designs include HP Video Conferencing Solution, Paper Razor™, and Dog / Human House etc.

This year’s exhibition features hundreds of entries that were selected as winners of this year’s Golden Pin Design Award under the theme of “Thumb-Stopping Creative”, which is spontaneously designed with visual effects by Serendipity Studio, to showcase an exciting integration of diverse creativity in a richly futuristic exhibition space.

The Golden Pin Design Awards is pleased to announce that Tung Tzu-Hsien, founder and chairman of Pegatron Group and honorary chairman of the Taipei Computer Association, will be receiving the Honorary Award this year. Tung will be officially commended for his commitment and contributions to Taiwan’s design scene and creative content industry at the award ceremony.
