To encourage talented designers to exercise their creativity, the GPCDA collaborated with Farglory Foundation to establish the 2021 Special Annual Award – Farglory Award to celebrate works of innovative concepts in the general architecture field. Taiwanese designer Han-Yu Lai’s Stormwater Membrane System was granted this honor!

The 2021 Golden Pin Design Exhibition─UPLOAD Kicks Off at the Taiwan Design Museum, Presenting Award-winning Designs
This year’s exhibition features the nearly 200 entries that were selected as winners of this year’s Golden Pin Design Award and Golden Pin Concept Award under the theme of “UPLOAD”, and also integrates immersive exhibition space and interactive experience to encourage audiences to share and exchange their design imaginations.
The 2021 Golden Pin Design Award Ceremony will be held in Taipei on December 4. The winners of the highest honors – the Best Design and the Special Annual Awards – will be announced during the show, so stay tuned!

The judging of the final selection for the 2021 Golden Pin Design Award and Golden Pin Concept Design Award and was completed in mid-September. The entries from Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Poland, Germany, the United States, and India will all be competing for the top honor at the award ceremony in Taipei on December 4!
From 28th September 2021 to 6th March 2022, TDRI launches the Swiss MAX-Swiss Design Exhibition. The exhibition is curated based on the unit of “hundred”, including 100 designers, 100 product designs, 100 posters, 100 books, etc. A large number of exhibits lead the audience to explore the 100 years of aesthetics and design history of Switzerland.
The Golden Pin Concept Design Award announces 45 Design Mark winners from Taiwan, China, Japan, Norway, Malaysia, Australia and India. Each design team must now prepare for the final selection on September 14-15, where they will pitch their concepts to a jury of international design experts.
