2020 Golden Pin Design Award Winners’ Exhibition ‘ZONE’: Resetting Our Focus on New Norms in Creative Design
Titled ZONE, this year’s exhibition offers an innovative, immersive experience that transports the audience into a world of brilliant ideas. The exhibition will last until February 28, 2021 and will showcase 130 winning entries.
The awards ceremony for the 2020 Golden Pin Design Awards will be held in Taipei on December 11. The theme of this year’s ceremony, “2020,” highlights the challenges of this tumultuous year and symbolizes an opportunity for change.
The submission periods for the 2020 Golden Pin Design Award and Golden Pin Concept Design Award are drawing to a close. The two awards highlight 12 exciting entries to promote the awards’ final Call for Entries this year, which will both close in early July.

For this year’s awards, the organizer has assembled an impressive 85-person jury—the largest yet—of leading international designers and experts in a variety of fields from fifteen different countries and regions. The 2020 Golden Pin Design Award’s call for entries ends on July 9th (Thu.) at 17:00 (GMT+8 Taipei). The organizer cordially invites designers from around the globe to take up the challenge!
The 2020 Golden Pin Design Award International Jury Members Announced! Early-Bird Registration Discount until June 1st
This year, design industry experts from over fifteen countries and regions will participate in the Preliminary, Secondary, and Final Selections for the two awards. Early-bird registration for the 2020 Golden Pin Design Award ends on Monday, June 1st, at 23:59 (GMT+8).
The 2020 Golden Pin Design Award is now accepting submissions worldwide until Thursday, July 9. Works that have already been commercialized and sold on the market are eligible to enter and may be submitted by either the manufacturer or the design team. An early registration discount is available on and before Thursday, April 30.
In order to deepen cultural exchange between Taiwan and Indonesia and establish a Southeast Asian Design Alliance, the Taiwan Design Center and Indonesian Economic and Trade Office (IETO) are joining forces.
Among this year’s award winners, the jury identified a number of winning design trends, which credits the awards’ role in championing the most advanced and innovative designs of the year.
The evening kicked off with an inspiring video that showed how design thinking can solve the problems facing everyone around the globe today. Many winners also responded to the theme, expressing their expectations as designers.
