The Golden Pin Design Award 2022 Design Mark recipients list is revealed today. Now they also progress into the Final Selection, which will take place on Sep. 21st & 22nd, to decide which of them will win the Best Design.

Jimmy Chang, Chairman of Chinese Industrial Designers Association (CIDA) and Alvin Chen, Creative Director of ACDC Creative recommended by Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI), and design masters of SONY and NOSIGNER from Japan, AURORA and ARTOP from China will share their valuable footsteps in product innovation.

Every day throughout our lives, we flit between being a consumer and a manufacturer, “the SPIRAL──2022 Circular Design Exhibition” endeavors to let visitors become aware of the environmental perils of resource depletion.

From 28th September 2021 to 6th March 2022, TDRI launches the Swiss MAX-Swiss Design Exhibition. The exhibition is curated based on the unit of “hundred”, including 100 designers, 100 product designs, 100 posters, 100 books, etc. A large number of exhibits lead the audience to explore the 100 years of aesthetics and design history of Switzerland.

Under the theme “VISION 20/21”, BODW will harness the power of collaborative creativity to provide timely insights into future trends that could help us find clarity in uncertainty.

This exhibition is a response to contemporary life. In times when malls have become the main location for purchasing furniture, this exhibition hopes to become a starting point of re-organizing the history of Taiwan design, and that the genuine passion for creativity can leave imprints in the future.

Each year, the project observes hardwares in different country. The designers will first deconstruct the original functions of the hardware and to repurpose them. Parts of the Taiwanese and Dutch hardware works will be presented in the exhibition this time.

The 2020 CET will be three primary exhibition halls: “the Cultural Concept”, “Design & Craft” and “Licensing”. By strengthening the cultural value of displayed products and proposing relevant themes for exhibition, the expo will interpret the views of generations and cultural aesthetic, which in turn inspire further design creative thinking.

The Golden Pin Design Award unveils 17 posters designed by Bito to raise awareness about the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and to celebrate the award’s 2019 Grand Ceremony.

On the topic of “Beyond Bauhaus”, this exhibition invites designers from various profession and countries, to analyze their design works and rethinking the Bauhaus spirit from.
