the SPIRAL──2022 Circular Design Exhibition

In these modern times of gradual resource depletion and escalating consumerism, numerous environmental issues arise daily. The concept of 2022 circular design exhibition is “the SPIRAL.” It is the main point of the exhibition, drawing from the foundation of accumulated experiences to manifest how the business models and systematic thinking of circular design can overcome obstacles and open up possibilities for the future.

the SPIRAL
“To spiral or not to spiral”

SPIRAL means continuous rotation on a unified axis, with its form ranging from a 2 to 3 dimension, progressively expanding and advancing, forming a circular and rotational evolution of energy, matter, and consciousness along a chronological axis.

Every day throughout our lives, we flit between being a consumer and a manufacturer, “the SPIRAL──2022 Circular Design Exhibition” endeavors to let visitors become aware of the environmental perils of resource depletion.

Besides showcasing Taiwan’s actions and achievements in the area of circular design, the innovations and opportunities of international circular commerce from different countries will also be on display. Furthermore, changing perspectives and presenting a circular economy from a designer’s third-person point of view will call on the public to explore opportunities for change throughout their daily lives.
