The Not Just Library, operated by TDRI, is proud to present its latest exhibition, The Most Beautiful Czech Books, opening today. This exhibition offers a compelling exploration of the sophisticated integration between visual design and literary expression in contemporary Czech publishing.

Computex, Asia's most representative information industry trade show, opened today (May 19) in Taipei. This year's exhibition, themed “AI Next,” highlights smart computing, future mobility, and next-generation technologies. Under the guidance of the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Department of Industrial Technology, TDRI is presenting “Re:DESIGN//AI,” an exhibition highlighting the design industry's innovative applications in artificial intelligence and sustainable circularity. 

The submission deadline for full papers and pictorials has been extended to May 31! This extension offers authors more time to share their work and insights with the international design community.

Co-organized once again with Tsubaki Studio, this year’s KL event brings together creative voices from Taiwan and Malaysia for a two-day exchange on design, creativity, and cultural dialogue.

The 2025 Design Perspectives x Golden Pin Salon Asia Tour is in full swing! The next destination is Bangkok—Asia’s vibrant creative hub—on April 26. This year, the event returns in collaboration with art4d and expands to feature two themed sessions, featuring architects, designers, and entrepreneurs from Taiwan and Thailand in a dynamic cross-cultural exchange.

By integrating design with psychological support services, the project aims to create counseling spaces that are safe, comfortable, and warm. In its first year, the project completed space transformations at four universities.

The award spans four major categories—Product Design, Communication Design, Spatial Design, and Integration Design—celebrating outstanding works across diverse creative fields. Meanwhile, the Golden Pin Concept Design Award, dedicated to pre-market design proposals, is also accepting entries.

The second edition of Taiwan Design Week, hosted by the Industrial Development Bureau of Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and organized by the Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI), took place from 7-15 December, 2024, at the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, drawing an impressive 250,000 visitors.

AI has become a powerful tool for inspiring individual creativity. Funded by the Department of Industrial Technology, the Taiwan Design Research Institute has spent three years developing AI tools exclusively for designers, including the “Product Data Explorer,” “User Data Explorer,” “AI Innovation Scenario Generator,” and “AI Design Strategy Generator.”
