TDC has helped the Executive Yuan’s Council of Agriculture (COA) to promote Taiwanese produce to the international stage for 8 years, gaining branding consultancy experience and feedback from the international market. COA cooperated with TDC to integrate 2 major projects, namely “Exported Produce Branding Project Management,” which focuses on brand-building, and also the market-oriented “International E-commerce Channel Expansion Plan for Produce,” to “Taiwan Good Agriculture” (TGA) in 2018.
The TGA project completely realizes the goals of the COA: the incubation of young farmers and agribusiness talent at an early stage, agricultural technique improvement at the middle stage, agricultural brand upgrading at the later stage and international market entry at the final stage. It is a “one-stop” project, which can be carried out in 4 ways:
1. Brand cultivation: Carry on the efforts of COA and continue to train Taiwanese agricultural talent, upgrade techniques, conduct segment marketing based on the brand management level of vendors, and provide suitable resources to maximize benefits in order to improve agricultural talent.
2. Brand consultancy: Select potential agricultural vendors, introduce the outlook of international buyers in the consultancy stage, help with market positioning, brand strategy, package design or marketing directions, and build a unique brand image to strengthen industrial advantage.
3. Buzz marketing: Carefully select the vendors who have received consultation before or local quality food producers to create the “TGA Select” brand, advocate that “Taiwanese Good Food” is “TGA Select” through teamwork and implement affiliate marketing strategies to enter the international market.
4. International expansion: Target Japan, China and Southeast Asia, bring vendors to the target markets to participate in fairs and business meetings or practice through programs to increase international selling experience which is helpful in expanding, and penetrate foreign markets.
